I Love You

Did it mean something to you, too?

After all we had gone through?

As tensions rise between us in the best way,

your arms are the location where I want to stay.

The Trinity of you, me, and us,

would never fade from ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

Will you be my Weaver?

when we'd choose each other, falling out neither?

My favorite 3-5 syllabic structure,

for your smile and voice are unlike any other.

I love you.

I've said it across many poems, many songs, many breaths,

but I can say it definitively right here now.

I love you.

and it will never cease.
