Far Thereafter Demise
Mathematics unsolved,
In my heart forever evolved,
Around you I still revolve,
Even after the phone call
In which you asked if I was alright,
As we watched them twist the knife,
It’s something I won’t forget for the rest of my life
As long as I love you
It’s okay if you don’t want to talk,
Just know you’re everything, and I would walk
Unmeasurable, countless miles,
just to see you smile.
Mathematics unsolved,
In my head forever evolved,
For it’s what still revolves,
Even after it all.
In plans unmade,
But they’ve flashed before my eyes,
And regardless you won’t ever fade,
Not in my swirling skies.
Painting my reverie, until the day I die.
I’ll carry this life unmade
To my future grave;
For I won’t waste my love
On anyone who’s a lie
Carry it up up above
Far thereafter demise.
